Fresh basil in November? Easy. What about tomatoes in February? Be my guest! No matter what you want, AeroGarden can grow almost anything that is up to 12 inches high. 6 pods allow you to plant several different herbs or veggies at a time to enjoy your salads, smoothies and sandwiches.

AeroGarden consists of the water reservoir, the powerful lamp, the control panel and automatic pods where you can plant herbs, vegetables, salad and flowers. The smart gardening system lets you know when to refill water. The plants grow under artificial lighting provided by AeroGarden. You don’t need to think, AeroGarden does it for you.

The growing principle excludes soil and mess. Your plants grow on water and fertilizers which makes them clean 24/7. You add water into the reservoir and mix it with some plant food from the package. Then, you plant the seeds and turn the system on. The water needs to be changed once a month. As easy as pie!

If you go on Amazon, you are likely to spot hundreds of gardens of this type. Recommendation #1 – look for AeroGarden models only! Recommendation #2 – use this list to choose from the best because we’ve done a great job picking and trying out AeroGardens.

Description

Imagine fresh herbs & vegetables grown in your home, year-round. With the Miracle-Grow AeroGarden Harvest you can grow fresh herbs, vegetables, salad greens, flowers & more! This smart countertop garden uses water & patented nutrients to naturally grow plants… no herbicides, no pesticides,...

AeroGarden Harvest with a touch panel is made of stainless steel. This material is durable and shock-resistant. The garden won’t shut down if it falls or gets bumped against the wall.

The construction doesn’t have many details, thereby making the garden pleasant to look at. The color is a dark grey which adds some industrial charm to your apartment. Besides, Harvest Grey has 9 pods which is more than in other models in this list!

Pros
  • Has 9 pods and the LED control panel;
  • Includes gourmet herb seed kit (6-pod) – Genovese basil, curly parsley, dill, thyme, Thai basil and mint;
  • Miracle-Gro AeroGarden Harvest fits to grow anything – from herbs to veggies;
Cons
  • The model is currently out of stock.

Yes, you can, but not all of them. The plants like thyme do bad when transferred outside of AeroGarden. Mint and parsley grow well when transferred to AeroGarden.

Not necessarily. The lights in the system do the job of boosting photosynthesis so the plants are doing well both in lighted and non-lighted rooms.
